Hari ini, 5 Oktober 2013 genap sudah dua tahun pemergian Steve Jobs yang meninggal dunia akibat kanser pankreas pada usia 56 tahun. Kami di iAwani benar-benar meminati Steve Jobs bahkan tertarik kepada aspek simplicity yang ditampilkan oleh Steve Jobs.
Jika anda sudah selalu menggunakan produk-produk Apple seperti MacBook Air 13 inci ataupun iPhone, anda akan tertarik dengan idea-idea diketengahkan oleh Steve Jobs pada produk-produk tersebut. Idealogi Steve Jobs yang mahukan sesuatu yang “simple tapi power” benar-benar menarik hati kami. Anda boleh tonton filem jOBS lakonan Ashton Kutcher untuk mengetahui perjalanan hidup Steve Jobs.
Sehingga kini masih belum ada orang layak menggantikan Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs tidak mahir pengaturcaraan tapi iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air dan Apple II lahir dari idea beliau.
Untuk mengingati pemergian Steve Jobs yang merupakan pengasas Apple bersama Steve Wozniak, Tim Cook iaitu CEO Apple menghantar email berikut kepada kakitangan Apple pada 4 Oktober 2013.

Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of Steve’s death. I hope everyone will reflect on what he meant to all of us and to the world. Steve was an amazing human being and left the world a better place. I think of him often and find enormous strength in memories of his friendship, vision and leadership. He left behind a company that only he could have built and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. We will continue to honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to the work he loved so much. There is no higher tribute to his memory. I know that he would be proud of all of you.
